DESCRIPTION:Join us for our first Reuse & Recycling Pop-Up of the year with our friends at the Chicago Waldorf School! \n\n\n\nYou’ll have an opportunity to: \n\n\n\n\nDrop off common household items with for reuse\, repurposing or reclamation\, as well as ones that are difficult to recycle with:\n\nUs (Reduce Waste Chicago😉) Check out our list of accepted items for all organizations\n\n\n\nFlat Can Recycling\, a specialty recycling company. Please note: Some accepted items are accepted for a fee.\n\n\n\nCradles to Crayons\, which will accept clothing of all sizes/ages/genders.\n\n\n\n\n\nLearn about composting services for your home\, business\, community or event with WasteNot Compost.\n\n\n\nDrop off clothing to be repaired with Nandi of BLISS JOY BULL. Items will be mended off-site and you can pick them up from Lilla Barn Clothing\, 5535 N Clark St.\, about 2 weeks after the event. Please bring your items in a marked paper or cloth bag with your info attached. Payment is due at drop-off.\n\n\n\n\nBefore you leave home\, check out our updated list of accepted items so your visit goes smoothly. There are several updates\, including many recycling programs that have been discontinued. \n\n\n\nAlso\, keep checking back for updates to the event and our list. DESCRIPTION:What do you do with non-working strings of holiday lights (after you’ve tried replacing broken bulbs and fuses)? Recycle them with us!  \n\n\n\nLast year\, we collected more than 3\,000 pounds of lights from 24 locations across Chicago and WasteNot Compost customers. This year\, we’re expanding to more than 30 locations across the city and will be seeking volunteers to help us pick up lights. \n\n\n\nAs always\, our collection campaign will run from December 1 – January 31.
