DESCRIPTION:Join us at the Back of the Yards at The Plant’s bi-annual Reuse-a-Palooza! — a day filled with ways to repair\, reuse and recycle\, and focusing on approaches to purchasing and consumption that make good sense economically\, environmentally\, and socially. \n\n\n\nWe’ll be accepting several tricky-to-recycle items that can’t be placed in your blue bin. But please note\, we can’t accept everything Chicago won’t and we’ve updated our list\, so check our list of accepted items before you go. \n\n\n\nAnd check out the outstanding lineup of organizations offering services and accepting materials\, including EarthPaint\, PAWS Chicago\, PCs for People\, Working Bikes and more! \n\n\n\n\nVOLUNTEER ON APRIL 16!

DESCRIPTION:Join us for our first Reuse & Recycling Pop-Up of the year with our friends at the 47th Ward! \n\n\n\n\nDrop off select items for reuse or repurposing\n\n\n\nDrop off unwanted medicine (pills only) with the Cook County Sheriff’s Prescription Drug Take Back Program.\n\n\n\nBring loved clothing to be mended by Nandi (BLISS JOY BULL) and Emma (Handmade Whatever Co.). It’s first-come\, first-served. And please consider leaving a fee for their time and your appreciation. 😉 \n\n\n\nLearn about zero-to-no waste alternatives\n\n\n\nAnd more!\n\n\n\n\nBefore you visit\, check out our NEW & UPDATED LIST OF ACCEPTED ITEMS so your visit goes smoothly. We have made several updates from last year. \n\n\n\n\nLIST OF ACCEPTED ITEMS\n\n\n\n\n\nvolunteer for feb. 25!\n\n\n\n\nThe Neighborhood Boys & Girls Club is accessible by the Irving Park (80) and Western (49) busses. Parking is located in the back of the building by the main entrance. \n\n\n\nServices are provided by nonprofit organizations and small independent businesses.
