Earth Month Launch Party @ EcoShip

Join us and a gathering of eco-minded organizations at EcoShip to kick off Earth Month!
The event kicks off at 11 a.m. with a neighborhood trash pick-up with Love Blue (11 a.m. to Noon) and includes a $10 clothing swap with funk-it Swap from Noon-2 p.m. Check out all the details and RSVP ahead of time.
Visit with us from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. to learn about our work, volunteer opportunities or to drop off unwanted items for reuse, repurposing or recycling. We’ll be collecting a limited amount of items, including:
- Arm & Hammer plastic pouches
- Bread tags
- Brita filters
- Contact lenses & cases
- Crayons
- Dunkin’ Donuts coffee bags
- Ink cartridges & toners
- Keys
- LEGOs
- PakTechs beverage holders
- Plastic cards
- Prescription glasses
- Tennis balls
- Toothbrushes & toothpaste tubes
- Oxiclean plastic pouches
We’ll be joined by Cradles to Crayons and Chicago Furniture Bank, who will also be collecting items. Snail Catalogue will be there with fun Earth Month activities, while the The Urban Canopy talks composting and service sign-ups.
