Material collections

Bring your unwanted items for reuse, repurposing or specialty recycling. We will consolidate all accepted items from all collectors into one list. Please read it carefully as each organization will be at their own tent:

Reduce Waste Chicago: Household items for reuse, repurposing or recycling.
Flat Can Recycling: Large-scale household items and chemicals.
Cradles to Crayons: Clothing, shoes and sneakers.
Creative Chicago Reuse Exchange: School supplies.
That’s Not Garbage: Race medals and bibs.
The Struggling Black Girl Magic Club: Skates, skateboards, scooters and parts.
Working Bikes: Bikes in repairable condition, parts, tools and accessories.
WasteNot Compost: glass containers and aluminum cans.

Halloween costume swap

Looking for a costume for the trick-or-treater in your life? Or how about unloading an old one? Check out the Conscious Costume Costume Swap! Drop off unwanted AND CLEAN adult, kid or pet costumes. New-to-you costumes are free to take. Unclaimed costumes will go to Conscious Costume’s annual swap.

Food & Drink

Visit the intersection of intersection of global street food and soulful, community-driven hospitality with vegetable gyoza and beef short ribs from Kaya Grill & Gyoza (save save 5% off your purchase by bringing a clean reusable container and/or sauce ramekin). Free canned water provided by Open Water. Food and drinks will be served in compostable and recyclable materials, with on-site collection services provided by WasteNot Compost.

Live music & community vibes

Come for the sustainability, stay for the community! Enjoy live a performance by local band Ravenswood (2-4 p.m.) while you shop, learn, and connect with like-minded neighbors.
