Bring your unwanted items that can be reused, repurposed or are difficult to recycle. Please read the lists of accepted items carefully: Reduce Waste Chicago, EcoShip, Working Bikes.

Halloween costume swap

Looking for a costume for the trick-or-treater in your life? Or how about unloading an old one? Check out the costume swap! New costumes are free to take and unclaimed costumes will go to Chicago Green Theatre Alliance’s costume swap at Steppenwolf Theatre (Oct. 20 & 21).

Food & Drink

Try FUNGItarian food, locally grown and fully cooked oyster mushroom delicacies, from Windy City Mushrooms or quench your thirst with drip coffee, cold brew or chai from Botanical Cafe. Free canned water provided by Open Water. Food and drinks will be served in compostable materials provided by WasteNot Compost, which will be providing on-site composting and aluminum recycling, too!

Music

From 11 a.m.-3 p.m. listen to musical offerings from singer/songwriter and environmental activist Louise Kelly and musical partner Amr Megahed, as well as local band Ravenswood.
